Europe is considered to be the dream destination for most of the people. Be it, students or adults. From hitchhiking to trekking, steep snow-clad mountains to the crystal clear water of the rivers, from expensive coffee shops to continental food-joints, Europe has a lot to offer to you. The world has lots of places which are affordable and thanks to the latest technology, it is not difficult to find them either! The beauty of Paris, the smouldering shops of Amsterdam, the wonderful beaches of Greece, the history of the Romans, the Olympic stadium of Berlin, Europe has beauty in every corner. Now most of the people become happy only by thinking that they will visit Europe when they have saved enough because it is a common misconception of people that travelling in Europe is very expensive. Well, as true as steel, Europe is expensive but there are a few places which you can travel while you are still in college, and for that, you do not need to wait for the day when you will be happy with your bank balance. Below are the names of a few places which a student can visit while he/she is still in college:
Bratislava, which is basically situated in Slovakia, is more like Munich but a lot cheaper. It is a neat and clean place comprising of the ubiquitous transportation system. The European Government has spent a lot of money to build up this city but it is comparatively less crowded. Those who love to drink beer can easily go and grab a few bottles as beer in Slovakia only costs 1 euro.
Like Bratislava is termed to be mini Munich, Prague is termed to be the Rome of Eastern Europe. Prague is gradually becoming a tourist destination for its medieval centres and as it is a cool place to grab a few drinks and party as well.Prague has a number of museums and contains the largest club of Eastern Europe; a five storied building made of ice and correctly named “The ice bar.”
The whole of Eastern Europe comprises of Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, and Moldova and is the cheapest part of the continent. The living cost is comparatively cheaper than the rest of the continent. Eastern Europe has a variety of culture, music, and cuisines. Eastern Europe has its own charm and less crowded as most of the people think it is a sin to travel to these countries as they do not fall under the category of the impoverished ex-Communist countries.
Ok, so who haven’t heard the name of Portugal? If you haven’t heard of it then I must say that Portugal is among the barging countries of Europe with its beautiful beaches, wine, extraordinary food joints, history, and all of this at a reasonable price! If you visit Europe, do drop in at Portugal, who knows you might be lucky enough to get a glimpse of Cristiano Ronaldo!
Lisbon offers the students with a good mix of several museums, various historical buildings, diverse music, and nightlife. Lisbon has a lot to offer to you and the accommodation budget clocks in around 30 euro.
Naples is situated in Italy and is gradually becoming popular with the passing of each day. Naples offers you with museum which contains artifacts from Pompeii. Side by side there are castles where you can go and take a look. Naples was the place where pizza was initially invented. So do try out their pizza!
Krakow is situated in Poland and you can easily go out to check this place during a weekend. Though less crowded this place is gradually becoming popular day by day.
Budapest situated in Hungary gives you everything you have ever wanted. From castles to cathedrals and thermal spas, what do you want more? The place is gradually becoming famous with the backpacking crowd!
Ljubljana is a place in Slovenia. In Ljubljana you and opt adventure sports like skiing, or rafting, canyoning, and hitchhiking as well. The best part is that all of this comes at a low price and will enable you to have a lifetime of experience.
Bruges in Belgium has hostels and is a place of tourist attractions. It a perfect place for a weekend getaway as it is less crowded with a relaxing atmosphere.
Hamburg is one of the best places to visit in Germany with reasonable hotels to check in. This city smells of history and culture and has beautiful lush of greenery.
