Old school methods of teachings are no longer sufficient to impart knowledge to the students. To survive in this rat race students have to adapt themselves to all the contemporary and modernised version of technology as well as the education system. To solve a complex program student require their fundamental skill that is reading and writing and modernised technologies that is time management, teamwork, using high-end tools. Combining these together will not only help the students to take care of their learning process but will also enable them to achieve success. Nowadays schools have been assigning students with a lot of project-based works in order to sharpen their skills and help them to progress. Some of the reasons why project-based learning is important are described below:
Project-based learning’s helps to bring out the real-life context through the various project works which are being assigned to them by their mentors. Project-based learning’s allow a student to become independent, self-sufficient, and enhances their critical thinking. Not only that, project-based work helps the students to communicate with their teachers and exchange new ideas. When every student is mugging up their subjects from the textbooks, project-based works and assignments help a student to learn by breaking down all the invisible barriers of the classroom.
Project-based learning encourages authentic assessments and also allows to systematically documenting a child’s progress. Project-based learning’s allows a student to demonstrate a student’s capabilities while he/she is working independently. Along with that it also allows the student to develop certain skills while using high-end machinery and helps to build up the feeling of togetherness when a child is working in a group. In case of teachers, it allows them to understand the student’s progress in an elaborative way.
Project-based learning helps to promote long-term learning process as it allows a student to gain knowledge by going past the stereotypical model of the education system and by engaging them towards a brighter side where they see their textbooks come alive. Project-based learning allows a student to take control of the entire learning process, which is generally considered to be the steppingstone towards their future.
Students need to be inquisitive and curious in order to gather knowledge and know the truth behind what is happening, and why that is happening. Project-based learning takes this inquiry of the students to a new level and allows them to examine facts and synthesize information’s. Project works may often include various investigations in order to come out with a definite solution. This allows a student to be curious about what is happening.
Motivation is stated to be an incentive to act in a definitive way. The project works usually helps to motivate the students because, to put it, in other words, they are meaningful and it engages the minds of the student throughout the entire learning process.When the students are assigned to a particular project either of their choice or by the teachers, they are engrossed in the entire assignment. Starting from collecting data to making last minute preparations the student’s expectations and motivation knows no bounds.

Today’s world is powered by technology and usually driven by knowledge. Children are blessed to have a variety of learning styles which is dependent on the various background and experiences.Research proves that children are able to perform in a much better way when they take a step out of their monotonous text books and classrooms. The various projects based works help to bring out the various differences between the learning procedures of the students and allow them to direct in a better way. Whenever a student becomes aware of his/her capabilities he/she is able to perform at a much higher level. This allows a student to achieve success at every step of his life.
Project-based learning’s helps a student to comprehend, express and identify his style of learning. Side by side it also allows a student to be more interested to know about what is happening in the outside world, which does not comprise of his text book and regularised routine. Project-based learning is not another way of learning, but on the other hand, it is a way of working together and allows the students to take responsibilities for their own actions. Project-based learning helps a student to comprehend what their adult life is going to look like if they start improvising from their early school days. This is the 21st century; there is no place for the old ideas. Student needs to step out of the four walls of their classrooms, enhance their creativity. Surely you don’t need a box to think outside!
